For your child to have the best experience, they will be grouped based on their school years. Suitably qualified staff, including Paediatric First Aiders, are present at the club at all times for each group.
Our programmes are catered for the relevant age of the child and for health and safety it is not sensible to group children of vastly differing ages. Please contact the admin team at enquiries@nssport.co.uk if you have a question or would like to request children are in the same group.
All sites have paediatric first aid trained staff on site at all times.
If your child may require prescribed medication of any sort throughout the holiday club activity day, or wraparound service please inform the site leader and hand the medication to them on arrival or via the school office for wraparound care. They will ask you to complete the necessary paperwork. All medication must be in its original packaging, be in-date and with the prescription label clearly legible. Please note, NSSport are only able to accept and administer prescribed medication.
EpiPens and other Emergency Medication
If your child carries emergency medication (e.g. EpiPens or hypodermic injections) we require you to complete specific paperwork prior to your child attending. Paperwork can be completed in the morning but your child will not be able to enter the site until the team have completed all paperwork. Please contact the office team at enquiries@nssport.co.uk to receive paperwork and inform us of your child's requirements.
If your child carries an EpiPen, you will need to provide NSSport with two EpiPens at the start of each holiday club activity day please. It is essential that both EpiPens are in-date, in their original packaging and be prescribed to your child. NSSport reserve the right to refuse admission if fewer than two EpiPens are supplied, or if the supplied EpiPens are not in full working order (e.g. cloudy or discoloured liquid) or are out of date.
Please note, we will be unable to accept your child into our care without the required medication being present at the relevant club. It is the parent's responsibility to provide and collect two EpiPens at the holiday club each day. No credit notes or refunds will be issued for potentially missed sessions due to the correct medication not being provided.
